Tyla has been around the real estate industry her whole life - it is very much in her blood. She grew up attending open homes, auctions and everything in between. After obtaining her real estate licence at the age of 21, Tyla started her career selling real estate in her home suburb in Auckland. Nelson beckoned and she worked in the real estate market there for four years. In addition to Auckland and Nelson, Tyla also spent time living in Tauranga hence she has contacts in many parts of the country. Tyla was very excited to join the New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty team in Arrowtown and is embracing every aspect of living in the beautiful Southern Lakes. Having spent most of her holidays in Arrowtown since she was a little girl, and also having family connections in Queenstown, means Tyla combines an in-depth knowledge and a strong passion for everything this region has to offer. Tyla and her mother Jacqui Kalka are a winning team. They are very excited to be bringing their 30 years combined experience to Arrowtown. As well as selling real estate, Tyla and Jacqui volunteer for a few different organizations in the community. They regularly deliver for Baskets of Blessings and Meals on Wheels. They are also involved with the Early Bird Readers at Arrowtown School, giving the kids an extra hand with their reading when they need it. Tyla also helps teach puppy classes at Remarkable Vets.
