Nathan and Angela Imlach are part of Queenstown’s DNA and after twenty-nine years of running businesses and raising their family in the Wakatipu, their faces and reputations are embedded in the hearts and minds of locals and visitors alike. Both grew up on farms in Southland then moved to Queenstown in 1994 to own and manage the family company The Mediterranean Wholesale Market, which soon expanded to include Wanaka and Te Anau. Following the successes of the wholesale businesses, The Mediterranean Market retail store was born. “The Med Market”, as it affectionately became known, was an instant hit and attracted a sophisticated clientele who enjoyed the finer fares in life and the excellent service. This was latterly re-branded Raeward Fresh and since sold. Nathan and Angela now team with well-known New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty duo, Vanessa Sharp and Carl Johnston and together they specialise in marketing luxury, lakefront, lifestyle and unique homes all over the Wakatipu.
