Altitude Luxury

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Altitude Luxury recently. Pictures cannot capture just how lovely this villa was. It was located in the most serene setting, and had some of the most beautiful views in all of Queenstown. The villa was stocked with every appliance and utensil we needed. We truly enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and seating area.

My husband and I hated to leave this villa. It was a wonderful retreat after exploring Queenstown all day. We would also like to note that the Luxury Rental staff that met us at the home was wonderful. She was warm and friendly, and offered advice about traffic and restaurants. We would not hesitate to rent from your company again.

A beautiful, modern and sleek home, with amazing panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu and the mountain ranges. Extremely peaceful location, with the sound of birds and not much else, yet only a few minutes drive into the heart of Queenstown.

Service from the Sotheby's team was great from start to finish, friendly and prompt and went the extra mile. Our booking was made outside of normal working hours and during the weekend, however communication was quick and nothing was a problem, which was very much appreciated! This is the first review I have ever bothered to write on any site, period. Here are the things you need to know about this property and the property managers: 1. The house is exactly as the pictures suggest. Very stylish modern house where *everything* actually worked, where there was not a single item of the owners’ personal things in the property so you didn’t get the sense of living in someone else’s space. I mention this as I had a completely opposite experience in a rental in Sydney about a month earlier. 2. The house was maybe a few years old in terms of construction but was so well presented I would have believed it was a new construction. 3. Immaculately clean 4. Everything stocked including copious amounts of firewood 5. We came a lot earlier than expected (corona travel restrictions related) and even changed the arrival date with 12 hours notice and the house was still delivered immaculately by the managing agents (on a Sunday no less). 6. Sadly, as NZ went into a lockdown, we had to leave but the property would have remained available if needed and the owners called the property manager to get their personal cupboards unlocked for games etc for the kids in case we got stuck - this was unprompted. Again, without me asking and I’m sure with their own personal situations to consider, the agents arranged for extra bed linen to be delivered because of what would have been a lack of availability of cleaning for the 4 week lockdown. So in short, incredibly kind and thoughtful owners, backed by a highly professional, experienced and efficient management team renting me a very private house with truly breathtaking views which was at an exceptional standard, 5-10 mins drive from central Queenstown which has copious parking. If I had been locked down with my family in NZ for the duration, I would have been very grateful to be there and in their hands. Has to be the best house available in Queenstown and at the price, exceptional value. I wish the entire team all the best in these difficult times.Sikander

“Wow. What can I say. This home is truly extraordinary. From the moment you enter the gates and head up the beautifully landscaped driveway you enter what can only be described as paradise. The views are breathtaking, as the light changes throughout the day so does the view, it really is unbelievable. The house has everything you need to make you feel at home. Sonos in every room, Molton Brown soaps, fluffy towels, comfortable beds, the list goes on. The outdoor kitchen and fire are the perfect spot to spend the day and watch the world go by. The location is set away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown but only a 10min drive into the centre. We really didn’t want to leave. Just book the place, you won’t regret it. Our stay at Altitude Luxury at Moke Lake was nothing short of spectacular, with stunning views that took our breath away each morning. The privacy of the location provided a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle, allowing us to completely unwind and relax. It was undoubtedly the most relaxing experience we've ever had, making it a truly unforgettable getaway. HIGHLY recommend and we wouldn't hesitate to book this home again!
