Following completion of an MA in Property Valuation and Law in 2002, Glen commenced his real estate career with Colliers International (London). Over the coming two years he became professionally qualified as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). Soon after, Glen went on to specialise in residential and mixed-use development consultancy, helping to establish a new development consultancy team within Colliers. As an Associate Director, he consulted on, acquired and disposed of, real estate with values ranging from NZ$2m - $350m. His role included; sourcing opportunities, undertaking market research and analysis, feasibility studies, marketing strategies, planning law, affordable housing, highest and best use scenarios, price point, unit type, size, mix and layout, developer selection, heads of terms negotiation and sales. Prior to returning home, Glen was Land Director (Head of Department) within the Berkeley Group Plc, a FTSE 100 property development company. He oversaw all acquisitions, due diligence, planning consents, masterplan, design - unit type and ratio, layout and proportion, commercial leasing and sales, as well as staff recruitment and training.
