The Kapiti Coast is made up of multiple seaside villages; Paekakariki, Raumati South, Raumati Beach, Paraparaumu Beach, Paraparaumu, Waikanae Beach, Waikanae and Otaki. You can easily pass the day taking a stroll through one of the many villages which offer boutique shopping, cafes, restaurants and much more. Kapiti offers a relaxed lifestyle near the sea, but is still conveniently located close enough to the city for the commuter, located approximately 50 kilometres north., or makes a perfect weekend escape from the hustle and bustle. There is a well serviced train line which runs frequently. Currently under construction is Transmission Gully which will further reduce the drive time to the capital. Kapiti Airport also offers domestic flights connecting you to Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city and connection point to international travel.
